About Ms. Norton...
Ever since I can remember I have been singing, whether it be in a choir, in church, with my dad before supper, or in my shower. When looking back, I can remember getting in trouble in Art class because I couldn’t stop humming. Weekends my dad would wake me up by playing “Great Balls of Fire” on the piano. Music has influenced so many aspects of my life; I couldn't imagine not sharing it on a daily basis. As a teacher I am willing to share the knowledge I learn, the passion I have gained, and the potential that I see; in every person that is willing to listen.
I recently received my Bachelor of Science in Education with endorsements in Music and Coaching from Iowa State University. While attending ISU, I was active in the Student Alumni Leadership Council, which helped plan several events for students and alumni. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching the Iowa State Cyclones, shopping, and watching movies.
